I spend a day on my own today to visit the places I wanted to see and draw the noticeable things around me. I bought an unlimited dayticket for the public transport so I could see more of the city and go wherever I wanted to go (in Berlin) without having to stick to a plan. I wanted to see the east side gallery so that’s the place I went to first. During my trip I took breaks to sit down and draw the things around me. Having to travel lightly these weeks thought me to work with colours differently. I didn’t bring a wide range of markers or other art supplies with me so I had to stick to a fewer colours and materials which made my way of working very differently. Every time I sit down I try to draw something so this might be the first time I actually finish a sketchbook.
